SUPPORTING THE THEATRE
The Cork Arts Theatre receives no operational funding from the Arts Council. We are therefore financially dependent on the rental of the theatre by production companies and the ongoing support of our loyal Cork audiences.
In a changing and often uncertain world the need for entertainment and a brief escape from the sometimes harsh realities of life remains a constant. And live theatre provides a wonderful means of escape. Theatre has always supplied us with laughter, stimulation, challenges and, quite often, education. Long may it continue to do so.
